North Hills Indians JV Falls To North Catholic


North Hills Indians JV got things started in the first inning when Tanner Schmitt hit a solo homer.

North Catholic knotted the game up at one in the bottom of the second inning, when #11singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.

After North Hills Indians JV scored one run in the top of the fourth, North Catholic answered with one of their own. North Hills Indians JV scored when Sam Ranallo singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run. North Catholic then answered when #23 singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.

North Catholic pulled away for good with four runs in the third inning. In the third Max Badamo induced #23 to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, #31 doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, #11 singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, and #24 doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

#4 got the win for North Catholic. He lasted two innings, allowing two hits and one run while striking out four and walking zero. #23 2 and #24 entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Badamo took the loss for North Hills Indians JV. He lasted three innings, allowing nine hits and five runs while striking out three and walking one.

#3 started the game for North Catholic. He allowed two hits and one run over two innings, striking out two and walking zero.

Ranallo, Ryan Brennfleck, Schmitt, Jacob Kolling, and Cooper Mehall all had one hit to lead North Hills Indians JV. North Hills Indians JV didn't commit a single error in the field. Kerrick Switzer had seven chances in the field, the most on the team.

North Catholic had 12 hits in the game. #31, #3, #11, and #24 all had multiple hits for North Catholic.
