North Hills Indians Freshman Overcomes Plum In Face Of Early 3-Run Inning


Even though North Hills Indians Freshman gave up three runs in the third inning, they still defeated Plum 8-5 on Thursday. Miller, Brown, and Gentile each had RBIs in the big inning.

Plum got things moving in the first inning, when Miller reached on a dropped third strike.

North Hills Indians Freshman pulled away for good with three runs in the third inning. In the third Max Sharp drew a walk, scoring one run, Robert Dickerson singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run, and Josh Dreyer singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Drew Garth got the start for North Hills Indians Freshman. He went four innings, allowing four runs on four hits and striking out six.

Napoleon was on the hill for Plum. He went three innings, allowing six runs on eight hits. Ioannou threw three innings out of the bullpen.

North Hills Indians Freshman racked up 12 hits in the game. Jake Rebel, Anthony McCall, and Garth all managed multiple hits for North Hills Indians Freshman. Rebel went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead North Hills Indians Freshman in hits. Tyler Cote led North Hills Indians Freshman with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with six stolen bases.
