With Beau On The Mound, North Hills Indians Varsity Shuts Out Shaler Area


Beau Braunlich didn't allow a single run as North Hills Indians Varsity defeated Shaler Area 2-0 on Tuesday. Braunlich allowed just four hits.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Braunlich struck out seven, while Boyon sat down six.

North Hills Indians Varsity opened up scoring in the first inning. JT Mazula drove in one when he singled.

A single by Bredl in the second inning was a positive for Shaler Area.

Braunlich got the win for North Hills Indians Varsity. He allowed four hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out seven and walking one.

Boyon took the loss for Shaler Area. He lasted six innings, allowing six hits and two runs while striking out six.

Garret Barto went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead North Hills Indians Varsity in hits. North Hills Indians Varsity didn't commit a single error in the field. Mazula had nine chances in the field, the most on the team.
