Miller's Walkoff Gives North Hills Indians Varsity Victory Over Fox Chapel
North Hills Indians Varsity took their game in dramatic walk-off fashion, thanks to a walk-off single at the end of the game to topple Fox Chapel. The game was tied at four with North Hills Indians Varsity batting in the bottom of the tenth when Steven Miller singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
North Hills Indians Varsity earned the victory despite allowing Fox Chapel to score four runs in the second inning. Debaldo, Jerpe, and A Miles all drove in runs in the frame.
North Hills Indians Varsity opened up scoring in the first inning. Garret Barto grounded out, scoring one run.
In the top of the second inning, Fox Chapel tied things up at three when Miles singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.
Miller was credited with the victory for North Hills Indians Varsity. He allowed one hit and zero runs over four innings, striking out nine.
A Miles took the loss for Fox Chapel. He lasted four and a third innings, allowing eight hits and one run while striking out five.

With this win, North Hills grasped the WPIAL 5A Section 1 Title, the second consecutive year for the Indians. Playoffs begin next week.
