North Hills Indians Freshman lost the lead late in a 19-3 defeat to North Allegheny on Tuesday. The game was tied at two with North Allegheny batting in the top of the fifth when Manesiotis doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.
The North Hills Indians Freshman struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing North Allegheny, giving up 19 runs.
North Allegheny got things moving in the first inning, when Andreyko doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.
In the top of the fourth inning, North Allegheny tied things up at two. Phillips singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.
Ranallo got the start for North Allegheny. He surrendered two runs on three hits over three innings, striking out three.
Jake Rebel started the game for North Hills Indians Freshman. He lasted four innings, allowing two hits and two runs while striking out two. TJ Legler and Drew Garth entered the game from the bullpen, throwing one-third of an inning and one-third of an inning respectively.
