Two North Hills Indians Varsity Pitchers Combine In Shutout Victory Against Obama Academy Of Interna


North Hills Indians Varsity defeated Obama Academy of International Studies 8-0 on Monday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Jordan Pitchford struck out Dionte Vickers to finish off the game.

North Hills Indians Varsity got things moving in the second inning, when JT Mazula's sac fly scored one run for North Hills Indians Varsity.

North Hills Indians Varsity scored three runs in the sixth inning. Garret Barto, Tyler Zozos, and Mazula each had RBIs in the frame.

A double by Rueban Swartz in the fourth inning was a positive for Obama Academy of International Studies.

Beau Braunlich was the winning pitcher for North Hills Indians Varsity. He went five innings, allowing zero runs on one hit and striking out six. Pitchford threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Pitchford recorded the last six outs to earn the save for North Hills Indians Varsity.

Zach Beckman got the start for Obama Academy of International Studies. He surrendered five runs on three hits over four and two-thirds innings, striking out four. Nick Cosentino, Sam Bisno, and #25 each contributed in relief for Obama Academy of International Studies.

Braunlich, Zozos, Jordan Albright, and Joey Pusateri all had one hit to lead North Hills Indians Varsity.

Swartz went 1-for-3 at the plate to lead Obama Academy of International Studies in hits.
