LaSalle College Runs Away With Early Lead In Victory
North Hills Indians Varsity watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 6-1 loss to LaSalle College on Sunday. LaSalle College scored on a double by #3 in the first inning, a groundout by #28 in the first inning, and a sacrifice fly by #1 in the second inning.
LaSalle College opened up scoring in the first inning, when #3 doubled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.
#28 led things off on the rubber for LaSalle College. He went five innings, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out eight and walking zero.
David Lane was on the mound for North Hills Indians Varsity. He lasted five and a third innings, allowing six hits and six runs while striking out four. Conner Warner threw two-thirds of an inning in relief.
Jordan Albright led North Hills Indians Varsity with two hits in three at bats.
#7 went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead LaSalle College in hits. LaSalle College didn't commit a single error in the field. #3 had the most chances in the field with 12.
