Canon Mac over NH, 7-6

The North Hills Indians Varsity saw victory slip away on Monday when a four-run sixth inning lead disappeared after a furious charge from Canon Mac, who ended up with a 7-6 win.

Luke Chutko racked up three RBIs on two hits for the North Hills Indians Varsity. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the fifth inning.

Weston got the win in relief for Canon Mac. Weston pitched 2 2/3 innings and allowed no runs.

Mike Serpa was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed three runs.

The top of the second saw the North Hills Indians Varsity take an early lead, 2-0. The North Hills Indians Varsity's rally started when Brendan Burkesingled. A stolen base then moved Burke from first to second. Chutko singled, bringing home Burke. The North Hills Indians Varsity then tacked on more runs when Averell scored on an RBI single by Andrew Toplak.

After a quick strike from the North Hills Indians Varsity, Canon Mac responded with two runs in the second. Canon Mac scored on an RBI single by Rohaley and an error.
