NH drops 4-3 to Moon despite efforts of Steven Miller
Steven Miller did all he could to give the North Hills Indians Varsity a boost, but it wasn't enough to get past Moon Area , as the North Hills Indians Varsity lost 4-3 in seven innings at North Hills Herb Field on Friday.
Miller paced the North Hills Indians Varsity at the plate. Miller went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first and third innings.
Schoeneweis recorded the win for Moon Area . He allowed three runs over seven innings. He struck out four, walked four and surrendered four hits.
Brendan Burke took the loss for the North Hills Indians Varsity. He lasted just seven innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
The top of the first saw Moon Area take an early lead, 1-0. Farringer got things going for Moon Area with a single. An error then moved Farringer from first to second. Casper doubled, plating Farringer.
The lead stayed with Moon Area after the fifth, when it scored three runs on an RBI double by Gilmore, a sacrifice fly by Fachet, and an RBI single by Farringer.
