North Hills Indians Varsity Walks Away Victorious Over North Catholic, 6-2


North Hills Indians Varsity defeated North Catholic 6-2 on Wednesday.

North Hills Indians Varsity opened up scoring in the first inning, when Garret Barto singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

North Hills Indians Varsity scored four runs in the fifth inning. North Hills Indians Varsity big bats were led by Jordan Pitchford, Barto, and Tyler Zozos, all driving in runs in the inning.

JT Mazula earned the victory on the pitcher's mound for North Hills Indians Varsity. He went four and a third innings, allowing one run on three hits, striking out two and walking one. Pitchford threw two and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen. Pitchford recorded the last eight outs to earn the save for North Hills Indians Varsity.

Feczko took the loss for North Catholic. He lasted five innings, allowing nine hits and six runs while striking out seven.

North Hills Indians Varsity collected nine hits. Zozos and Barto all collected multiple hits for North Hills Indians Varsity. Barto and Zozos all had two hits to lead North Hills Indians Varsity.

North Catholic saw the ball well today, racking up six hits in the game. Feczko and Alampi all managed multiple hits for North Catholic.
