Two Pitchers Work Together To Earn Victory For North Hills Indians Freshman Against Shaler In No-Hit


Alec Apodaca struck out Gabriel to get the last out of the game, as two pitchers teamed up to a throw a no-hitter in North Hills Indians Freshman's 13-10 defeat of Shaler on Friday.

Both teams had their chances in the game, but eventually North Hills Indians Freshman took the lead thanks to a in the sixth inning

North Hills Indians Freshman took an early lead in the first inning. Aidan Tumpa drove in one when he doubled.

North Hills Indians Freshman evened things up at ten in the bottom of the fifth inning when an error scored one run for North Hills Indians Freshman.

North Hills Indians Freshman tallied four runs in the second inning. Josh Dreyer, Anthony McCall, Drew Garth, and Jake Rebel all drove in runs in the frame.

Shaler scored four runs in the fifth inning. Montgomery, Miller, and Gabriel each had RBIs in the big inning.

Tumpa was on the mound for North Hills Indians Freshman. He went one and one-third innings, allowing five runs on zero hits and striking out four.

Owczarzak led things off on the hill for Shaler . He allowed seven hits and eight runs over two innings, striking out two. Montgomery threw four innings in relief.

North Hills Indians Freshman saw the ball well today, racking up ten hits in the game. Garthand Robert Dickerson each had multiple hits for North Hills Indians Freshman. Dickersonand Garth each managed two hits to lead North Hills Indians Freshman.

Miller led Shaler with two runs batted in. He went 0-for-2 on the day.
