North Hills Indians Freshman Can't Hold Up Against Peters Twp


Nothing came easy for North Hills Indians Freshman on Tuesday, as they fell 12-2 to Peters Twp

North Hills Indians Freshman got things moving in the first inning. Drew Garth singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

Peters Twp pulled away for good with four runs in the second inning. In the second Aidan Tumpa induced D Shavolt to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, Tumpa's wild pitch allowed two runs to score for Peters Twp, and C Woods grounded out, scoring one run.

Peters Twp scored four runs in the third inning. J Mascio, L Pfeuffer, and Woods each had RBIs in the frame.

L Culan led things off on the hill for Peters Twp. He allowed four hits and two runs over five innings, striking out one.

Tumpa led things off on the mound for North Hills Indians Freshman. He surrendered five runs on two hits over two innings, striking out two. Kerry Wolff threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Tyler Cote, Garth, Robert Dickerson, and Anthony McCall all had one hit to lead North Hills Indians Freshman.

Mascio went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Peters Twp in hits. Peters Twp was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Pfeuffer had the most chances in the field with five.
