Late Score Costs North Hills Indians Freshman Against Mars


Wednesday's game against Mars was a heartbreaker for North Hills Indians Freshman, as they lost the lead late in a 6-2 defeat. Mars trailed 2-1 in the top of the seventh inning when an error scored two runs for Mars.

North Hills Indians Freshman fired up the offense in the first inning. Josh Dryer singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Alex Heavnee was the winning pitcher for Mars. He surrendered one run on two hits over four innings, striking out ten and walking one.

Tyler Cote took the loss for North Hills Indians Freshman. He went two and a third innings, allowing six runs on four hits and striking out two.

Jake Rebel started the game for North Hills Indians Freshman. He allowed four hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out three. Teddy Ruffner started the game for Mars. He lasted three innings, allowing one hit and one run while striking out seven.

Robert Dickerson, Anthony McCall, and Dryer all had one hit to lead North Hills Indians Freshman.

Lucas Karemsky went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Mars in hits.
