Zozos's Walkoff Seals The Deal In North Hills Indians Varsity Victory Over Winfield

A walk-off single propelled North Hills Indians Varsity to a decisive, dramatic victory over Winfielfd, 13-12.  North Hills Indians Varsity trailed 12-11 in the bottom of the seventh inning when Tyler Zozos singled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs.


Winfield scored eight runs in the fifth inning, but North Hills Indians Varsity still managed to pull out the victory. Winfielfd batters contributing to the big inning included #14, #1,  #23, #7, and #12, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.


North Hills Indians Varsity got things moving in the first inning.  Steven Miller drove in one when he doubled.


Garret Barto got the start for North Hills Indians Varsity. He surrendered two runs on five hits over four innings, striking out three and walking zero.


#12 toed the rubber for Winfielfd. He allowed nine hits and six runs over five and two-thirds innings, striking out five and walking one.  #9 threw two-thirds of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.


North Hills Indians Varsity tallied 13 hits in the game.  Miller and Tyler Brennan each racked up multiple hits for North Hills Indians Varsity.  Miller went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead North Hills Indians Varsity in hits.


Winfield scattered 11 hits in the game.  #14, #23, and #10 all managed multiple hits for Winfielfd.
