NH defeat Vincentian after late game bases loaded walk, 4-3

The North Hills Indians Varsity and Vincentian Academy traded the lead six times on Saturday, but the North Hills Indians Varsity ended up on top with a 4-3 win in eight innings over Vincentian Academy .

 

The North Hills Indians Varsity finally managed to grab the lead after a strong eighth inning. A walk by Andrew Toplak scored Nick Leise and gave the North Hills Indians Varsity the lead for good.

 

The North Hills Indians Varsity were led by a flawless day at the dish by Luke Chutko, who went 3-3 against Vincentian Academy 's pitching. He singled in the first, fifth, and eighth innings.

 

Mike Serpa got it done on the hill on the way to a win. He tossed two innings of shutout ball. Serpa struck out two, walked one and gave up two hits.

 

Seskey was charged with the loss. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed one run.

The game was scoreless until Vincentian Academy broke the ice with one run in the fourth. Vincentian Academy scored on a hit by pitch.

 

After a quick strike from Vincentian Academy , the North Hills Indians Varsity responded with two runs in the fourth. The North Hills Indians Varsity scored on a two-run single by Derrick Donatelli.

 

It didn't take long for the North Hills Indians Varsity to answer as they scored one run of their own in the fifth. The North Hills Indians Varsity scored on a sacrifice fly by Leise.
