JV jump on Mt. Pleasant early and coast to a 10-4 win

The North Hills Indians JV jumped out to an early lead on Mt. Pleasant and captured a 10-4 victory on Wednesday at North Hills-Herb Field.

Eight runs in the first three innings allowed the North Hills Indians JV to put the game away early.

A two-run single by Zayle Apodaca and a two-run triple by Jordan Pitchfordduring the first inning fueled the North Hills Indians JV's offense early.

Pitchford racked up two RBIs on two hits for the North Hills Indians JV.

Joey Pusateri brought the heat against Mt. Pleasant during his outing. Pusateri gave up just two hits, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out five during his 3 1/3 innings of work.

David Lane recorded the win for the North Hills Indians JV. He allowed four runs over 3 2/3 innings. Lane struck out three, walked four and gave up five hits.

#3 took the loss for Mt. Pleasant. He allowed eight runs in three innings, walked none and struck out two.

The North Hills Indians JV built upon their lead with four runs in the third. A error scored J Rozanski to start the scoring in the inning. That was followed up by Tyler Brennan's double, plating Pitchford and Jared Lubbert.

After pushing across four runs in the top of the fourth, Mt. Pleasant faced just a 8-4 deficit. An error, a bases loaded walk, an RBI single by #1, and a walk by #7 set off Mt. Pleasant rally. Pusateri ended the inning by getting #3 to ground out.
