NH takes out Mt. Pleasant with help from Yenzi, 11-6

He singled in the first inning, doubled in the third inning, and tripled in the fourth inning. 


Mt. Pleasant 's lineup had no answer for Andrew Toplak. Toplak held Mt. Pleasant hitless over 4 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked four and struck out two. 

The North Hills Indians Varsity were sparked by Yenzi and Steven Miller, who teamed up for five hits and three RBIs. 

Pritts was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed two runs. 

The bottom of the first saw Mt. Pleasant take an early lead, 3-0. Paul started the rally for Mt. Pleasant with a single. A passed ball then moved Paul from second to third. The scoreboard lit up again for Mt. Pleasant when Beranek scored when Reese drew a bases loaded walk. 

After posting two runs in the second, the North Hills Indians Varsity again scored two in the fourth. In the second, the North Hills Indians Varsity scored on an error, scoring Miller. 

The game was never in doubt after the third, as the North Hills Indians Varsity scored four runs on an RBI double by Yenzi and three singles. 

One run in the bottom of the fifth helped Mt. Pleasant close its deficit to 8-4. An error sparked Mt. Pleasant 's rally. Loughner to end the Mt. Pleasant (PA) threat. 

The North Hills Indians Varsity built upon their lead with three runs in the sixth. The inning looked promising, as Miller singled, bringing home Yenzi to kick things off. 

Two runs in the bottom of the sixth helped Mt. Pleasant close its deficit to 11-6. A single by Kristoff and an RBI single by Duricko triggered Mt. Pleasant 's comeback. But, Nick Leise got Yester to to end the inning.
