NH Varsity jump on Butler early and coast to a 6-0 win

The North Hills Indians Varsity jumped out to an early lead on Butler and captured a 6-0 victory on Thursday at North Hills Herb Field.

With five runs in the first three innings, the North Hills Indians Varsity left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

A fielder's choice, an RBI single by Luke Chutko, a two-run single by Andrew Toplak, and an RBI single by Nick Leise in the first inning helped the North Hills Indians Varsity put some runs on the board early.

The North Hills Indians Varsity got their bats going early, scoring five runs in the first inning to pull ahead of Butler .

The North Hills Indians Varsity's Brendan Burke kept Butler off the scoreboard for all seven innings he was on the bump. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on seven hits while ringing up nine.

Ollio was charged with the loss. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out five, and allowed five runs.
