Steven Miller helps NH Varsity down SV 5-0

He doubled in the second inning and singled in the sixth inning.

The North Hills Indians Varsity's Mike Serpa kept Seneca Valley off the scoreboard for all seven innings he was on the rubber. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on five hits while ringing up three.

Laskey was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed five runs.

The game's last lead went to the North Hills Indians Varsity thanks to a first inning rally that saw one run cross the plate on a groundout by Brian Farabaugh.

The North Hills Indians Varsity tacked on another three runs in the sixth. A scored Brendan Burke for the inning's first run. That was followed up by Luke Chutko's double, plating Farabaugh.
