The North Hills Indians JV fend off Morgantown's late push, hold on 5-3

Morgantown was never able to get over the hump and overcome its troubles against the North Hills Indians JV on Thursday, as Morgantown fell 5-3 at Crosley Field after falling behind by three runs in the fourth inning.

Morgantown scored one run in the fifth on an RBI single by #20. Despite its efforts, Morgantown couldn't get over the hump.

JT Mazula racked up two RBIs on two hits for the North Hills Indians JV. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the fifth inning.

The top of the first saw Morgantown take an early lead, 1-0. #14 got things going for Morgantown with a single. A stolen base then moved #14 from first to second. A few plays later, #14 stole home.

The North Hills Indians JV tied the game in the second on a passed ball that scored Jordan Pitchford.

The lead stayed with the North Hills Indians JV after the third, when they scored two runs on a two-run double by Mazula.

The North Hills Indians JV matched their one-run fourth inning with one more in the fifth. In the fourth, the North Hills Indians JV scored on an RBI single by Joey Pusateri, scoring Ryan Hohman.
